The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee created imsorryrush.com to provide an easy-to-use tool for Republicans needing to apologize for going against Rush.

This is funny, in a stupid way: http://www.imsorryrush.com. A nice, simple, form letter for Republicans needing to backtrack and provide an apology for daring to insult Rush Limbaugh. Take a look. It’s worth a giggle.

It’s sad because it’s true. Our side is always so quick to attack its own, even when they’re among the most respected and influential that we have. Any Republican political figure who attacks Rush Limbaugh needs to get his head examined.

Still, it’s funny that the Democrats would give Republicans a hard time for kow-towing to Rush when they are equally terrified of Kos.

And the guy that is laughing the hardest at this is probably Rush himself, who knows a few things about humor. This stunt is so against the grain of your average lemon sucking hand wringing doom and gloom Democrat, I liked it and hope it is a sign of things to come.

Rush doesn’t speak for me, but neither does Michael Steele. Not after that bullshit.

Yes, Drum. I am clearly seeking to promote Obama’s agenda. By voting for McCain. By opposing the bailout. By supporting the DTA & MCA.

Oh, that’s right. I feel that gays deserve complete equal protection of our laws.

Therefore I’m seeking to promote Obama’s agenda.

Yunno, you really should try to grasp the concept of an independent thinker, non-partisan person. We do exist. We don’t slavishly follow some party’s label or agenda, and can support positions of both sides.

Given the “Bush can do no wrong” mantra of your byline, I am quite happy if you disassociate yourself from mine.
