Well, I can certainly vouch for two of them, pfluffy, at the very least; Thrill and the Mrs were every bit as interesting, clever, and engaging as you would expect.  Additionally, they were extremely hospitable and completely nailed the choice as to where three familiar strangers should meet.  The restaurant was very relaxing, and the food was matched by the locally brewed beer in terms of its quality.  Sarah and I were both very pleased that we stayed around town long enough to meet up.

I will admit that I did feel a tad bit gluttonous as I devoured my philly cheesesteak, considering that Mrs Thrill, who is eating for two, was unable to finish.  Although (and I’m not 100% sure on this), I thought I heard a tiny squeak from her belly that uttered something along the lines of, “hey, ma, I wasn’t quite done with that!” but I could be mistaken.

I sure hope the rest of the pregnancy proceeds without incident and I look forward to reading little Thrillers first post.

As soon as I can clear some time for an LA visit (maybe for a Lakers game?), you and I have a date with the bottom of a pitcher, Manwhore.  We’ll also need to track Rich down at whatever tennis court he’s been spending his time at and pull fingerbang from his familial duties for an evening, as well. 

Kevin, I hope you made it to St Louis alright and that you enjoy the rest of your trip.  Please know that you have lifelong friends in Kansas City in Mrs Thrill and I and you and your lady friend (not sure if she wants to remain anonymous) are welcome at our home any time.

We did, indeed, although we didn’t have nearly enough time in St. Louis (this seems to be a habitual problem with my planning!).  We are now about 30 minutes from Dyersville, IA (ie. Field Of Dreams) and will be sleeping this evening in Milwaukee, hopefully arriving in time to catch the Persieds out in the back country.

Let me thank you both again for the great conversation and the invitation—you are welcome up in my neck of the woods anytime!

Kevin - it was such a joy meeting you and Sarah.  We had a great time and we hope to meet you all again soon. Don’t feel bad about how little I eat as I eat all the time!  I pigged out again at the movies an hour later.
